Brandon had his x-ray and MRI yesterday. He of course dressed up like a fire man so he could have his "oxygen mask like a real fire man!" ALL results were perfect! His x-ray showed that all seven of his lytic lesions have completely grown closed. There aren't even any shadows of weakened bone areas. His MRI showed that his pituitary is now of a normal shape (cylindrical) and size.
He'll continue to receive scans every six months for a few years, then annually after that. Dr. Wood believes that he's fine and will never require treatments again.
We are so grateful for everyone's kind thoughts and prayers, and feel very blessed that we've beat LCH!
